However, there was recently an unexpected surprise for many netizens. They noticed Khairy diving into the world of commercials and acting. No, he’s not starring in a movie (at least not yet), but he made an appearance in a promotional video for a Western restaurant. The video garnered significant attention and applause from netizens who lauded his versatility and remarkable acting skills.
Khairy shared the promotional video on his Instagram, and it was created for a company known as Pak Mat Western.
In the video, Khairy demonstrates his acting skills by answering a phone call and enthusiastically accepting the company’s offer. He then dresses in the company’s uniform and sets out on a motorcycle, promoting the company’s mutton products to passers-by.
Furthermore, he impresses as a chef, expertly frying mutton chops and meatballs on the spot for neighbours to enjoy. Khairy concludes the video by expressing his gratitude for collaborating with the company and emphasizing its role in creating job opportunities and business prospects for the community.
At the time of writing, the video has gained over 886k views, 88.2k likes and over 3.2k comments on Instagram and it’s received 1.7 million views on TikTok. Netizens were seen praising the former minister for his natural acting talent. Not only that but since Khairy is pretty influential, some netizens also couldn’t resist and planned to place an order if he was the actual delivery coming to their doorstep was Khairy himself.
